We do not have to be available all around the clock! So, for 2020 you should challenge yourself and turn it off for a month. I have a solution for this problem and it is called Detox. Detox from your smartphone. Write down a few important numbers you may need and use an old phone you have at home where you can only call somebody. Stop to use social media like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter all the time, stop to write messages on Whatsapp and stop to send pictures on Snapchat – enjoy all the time you have with yourself. You do not have to share everything to the whole world!
I challenged myself one year ago, and I will do it again this year. It helped me to be more thankful for the things I have and I stopped comparing myself to other people. You have so much more time for the important things in life, you learn to listen more carefully, to live the moment and you will be more relaxed! Do not say you will try it in a few months, start now and I promise that you will not regret it.
